TRIPLE THREAT FAQ

Does your program have large class sizes.
No and that’s what we prefer ! We offer a boutique experience where we know every student as an individual. We nurture their strengths and help them overcome their challenges and reach goals. This allows for quality of instruction which is incredibly beneficial for our students.

Does my child have to audition to join Triple Threat?
Absolutely not. We require a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to have a great time every week !

What is your policy on bullying?
At Triple Threat we have a zero tolerance for bullying of any kind. Our program is a safe space for all who wish to join. We offer a welcoming, creative, fun and most of all kind environment that celebrates our students as individuals and recognizes that every child is uniquely their own self and should be celebrated for that.

My child has never been never been on a stage or performed before/My child is shy.
Is this a problem?

At Theatre Street we encourage and support the shy and anxious, helping them to find their innermost singer, dancer and actor.

Do you follow curriculum?
We have a planned curriculum for the Season so that our students get a well rounded musical theatre education. We add to our curriculum each year so that we are constantly evolving and growing as a Program.

For the Performances - how many are there and how long are they?
We have two Performances of our original scripted show ( we do the same play for both performances). The Show run time is about 1 hour in length.

Do students do the same Show every year?
Every year is a different script, This allows our students to learn new material, characters and grow as performers in different roles.

Speaking of roles - will my child be in a “chorus role “ only?
This is just one of the benefits of our program. Every student in our program will have multiple lines of script and stage time. Our students all have singing, dancing and acting roles in our performances. Every time. We do not have a show where there are 1 or 2 main stars and the rest of the cast is only supporting them.

Will students have homework?
Yes ! And it is FUN homework ! Each student will be responsible for practicing their songs, dances and script lines at home. Home practice is necessary in order for our Performance to
fully come together.

Is regular attendance important?

Absolutely. Students that are constantly missing classes will lose out on vital information pertaining to their skill development as well as coming together as a cast for rehearsals.
